Mexican President Felipe Calderon spoke before the United States Congress today and expressed his discontent with the new Arizona law that makes illegal immigration, uh well …illegal. The Mexican President could barley get through with his scolding before Democrats jumped to their feet applauding. Even Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder who haven’t even read the bill were cheering wildly.
If you watch closely I think Napolitano threw her bra onto the stage and Holder was trying to get Calderon to do a stage dive.

So you mean to tell me we now have leaders of foreign countries coming to OUR HOUSE and scolding US about laws we make? And over half of the members of Congress are OK with that?

I wonder…has the Mexican President even read the Arizona bill? In fact, has he ever read the Mexican laws on illegal immigration?

I would really like to hear an argument of how any US citizen can stand for this? If you can please comment because I would like to hear your rational.

what a sad and ugly state our Congress has become. They are nothing more than a hundred plus King George’s. Tyrants!

I agree with “Stuck In NJ”! This is a very sad day for the United States of America. It is being taken down from within, with Congress on their feet, applauding. Disgraceful!

OUR CONGRESS IS IN THE WORSE SHAPE I HAVE EVER SEEN. EVEN WORSE THAN WHEN JOHNSON WAS PRESIDENT AND TRYING TO RUN THE WAR IN VIET NAM FROM HIS DESK AND JUDGING ON WHAT THE NEWS SAID WAS HAPPENING. OUR CONGRESS SHOULD HAVE STOOD UP TO OPPOSE THE MEXICAN LEADER FROM MAKING ANY MORE COMMENTS ABOUT ANYTHING THE USA IS DOING AND ESPECIALLY ANYTHING WHERE HIS ILLEGALS ARE BREAKING THE LAW IN ALL OUR STATES. ONLY A FEW STATES WILL STAND UP AGAINST ILLEGALS.

Clearly, profit can be made by this form of leadership. Since Arizona was created by Martial Law, and the United States Government is traditionally against ‘aliens’ in any form, we can state for a fact that, no Martians will be harmed by this display, and calling someone ‘illegal’ for existing only shows a lack of capacity for operation of a government. I am entertained by ‘New World Order’ theories. We really need to grant a competancy hearing for each individual person in Legistlature, or, give a better explaination why they are being entertained so much by this momentus occasion. . .

This is absolutely despicable – SHAME ON THEM!!!!!!
When was the last time that ANY of our leaders went to Mexico to ‘scold’ them on their laws, is what I’d like to know. And what RIGHT does Calderon to scold us on the decisions and laws we make to govern ourselves? We, the PEOPLE of this country have a JOB to do this year and we better do IT RIGHT, is all I got to say!

What nerve the Mexican president has. Vote out the people in power who will NOT uphold our laws. Dammit, this is OUR AMERICA! All immigrants are welcome as long as they do it legally.

I am truly embarrassed by the way our elected officials behaved when President Calderon spoke before congress. To think the people we elected to represent us would applaud someone from another country condemning one of our sovereign states for enforcing our laws is despicable. When we elected these people they took an oath to uphold the laws of our country. When one of our own is being overrun by illegals pouring over their boarder and begging the federal government for help, only asking to enforce a federal law, not one of them offers any help whatsoever. They can only criticize the state for trying to control what the federal government should. Arizona is desperately trying to survive.
