The debate on where and when Obama got his Social Security number has been out there for a while. In the past few weeks though several investigators have looked more deeply into the issue.
The issue is Obama’s Social Security number comes from a sequence of numbers assigned to Connecticut and given to him in the late 70’s. Now this is probably not a big deal but people are asking how did he get a job before he was assigned his current number. Also the Social Security office does not reissue numbers unless it is an extreme case.
Now with all this being raised in the past week you can bet Google News is getting lot’s of searches for “President Obama Social Security Number”. The problem is Google seems to be suppressing any articles on the matter and redirecting people to more favorable articles.
When searched under Google News the article excerpt appears “NEW YORK – Two private investigators working independently are asking why President Obama is using a Social Security number set aside for applicants in …” but you are redirected to another site. One actually sends you to an article titled “Sanford, ’soul mate’ rekindling flame”.
I did my own search on Google News for “President Obama Social Security Number” and here’s what came up.
Google claims it’s a glitch in their system. I wonder how many glitches they will have around election time?

The glitch, as it were, seems fixed. I just repeated your search terms, and 8 out of 10 of the first results were about the Connecticut prefixed SS number..
When I googled, I got everything directly related to the subject…..they must have corrected it!

Well thank you Google. While reading this at first my respect for the company was dropping like a rock. Then I got to the comments, glitch fixed, did my own search and everything was related to his number. Now, the issue remains, what the hell is up with his number?
